Every incident occurring here has its own unique after effects, which in turn influence other things, causing a snowball effect that affects in various ways. Sometimes these outcomes would result in good, sometimes in bad. Unfortunately, we never know how one event would lead to another until we face the consequences.”
This is the first paragraph of this book and it sums up the whole story and its consequences.
The story initiates with the mysterious death of a newly wed couple in a full moon night. Some days ago, an important device got missing from the biggest research center in NewYork. This device can be operated by just thinking and it uses the brain waves for this. For investigation, the charge of this theft case is given to detective John who starts the work to with his friend Alex. As the investigation starts, a series of incident and murders took place on the full moon night which create conspiracies and suspense. The case becomes complicated with time and the new incidents. After a lot of hardwork, both can’t able to find any clue of the culprit. One of the suspect, Disha, the neurologist of the research centre somehow comes close to John and both falls in love. This is just 15-20% of the whole story. After this every page brings surprise and suspense with beautiful twists. There are also many important characters except these three. What happened after it and what is the mystery of the full moon is more interesting. How the death of the couple and other deaths are connected with this case? How Disha secretly sets out to uncover the mystery? Can they able to solve the case and mystery of the full moon? How this case affect the diplomatic relation between India and America? All these questions keep the reader hooked till the end. One can’t guess what will happen next till the end.
This novel is amalgamation of thriller, suspense, crime, detective and romance. It is a kind of unique genre with sci-fi thrill. It has everything this kind of novel should have. I must say, the author has cooked the story on slow flame with all ingredients in right amount. The plot is drafted very beautifully. Each characters play their role perfectly and there is no messing up. Language is easy and fluent. The narration is pretty good. It seems that the author has done a lot of hardwork. He has puzzled the word ‘CONTROL’ very nicely and weaven the cules with good reasoning. The concept of the Supermoon has surprised me and how beautifully he explains each things at the end is just awesome. After reading 95% of it, I could guess about the culprit. And, the perfect ending filled the heart with happiness. One page is written in hinglish. I think this is not the good idea because it may irritate some readers who are not used with to hinglish. The font is small which need more concentration. Rest all is well. The cover is also nice. So, it is a must read for thriller – lover and who likes to read sci-fi genre. Students of science will surely love this. And it would be a perfect book as gift for them. At last, I can say that Tushar Janjalkar done an extraordinary job. This is a perfect start for a debutant. He has ticked every boxes right. And because of all these things, I believe that he is a bright star. I’ll expect many more like this from him.
